Semester Credit System

LEARNING ACTIVITY

Learning activities can be taken for eight semesters, in accordance with the provisions of the 2018 Curriculum. Students must fully participate in all academic activities in a planned and structured manner.

  1. LECTURE

In the lecture, a one-semester credit system is defined as an activity directly related to a particular subject and consists of

  • Face to Face Activity (KTM)

is held based on a structured arrangement of material and delivery of material or scheduled discussion. The face-to-face activity consists of 50 minutes a week for the weight of 1 (one) semester credit unit (credits).

  • Structured Assignment Activities (KPT)

Carried out as one of the complementary lecture activities based on structured materials in the form of assignments with a calculated process time of 60 minutes a week for each weight of 1 (one) credit.

Several courses are equipped with practicum or response which aims to help students understand through discussing assignments on campus. Assignments are given and coordinated by the course-teaching lecturer together with the practicum or response lecturer concerned. Some responses in certain courses are mandatory for students in the corresponding course.

  • Independent Academic Activities (KAM)

Need to be carried out by students even though the materials are not structured and the implementation is not scheduled in advance. This activity requires awareness and personal discipline of the student concerned.

Each course program is carried out based on the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) which both lecturers and students must comply with. Students have the right to ask for the intended RPS from their respective class lecturers.

  1. PRACTICUM

To support the successful implementation of certain subject programs or certain groups of knowledge, it is necessary to have activities in the form of practicum carried out by utilizing laboratories. In addition, practicums provide opportunities for students to apply the
