Preparation of Study Plans

Preparation of Study Plans

Each student will have one advisor as their academic guidance. Therefore every student will be able to get guidance about their study plans whenever needed according to the agreement throughout the semester. Students can arrange a consultation with their advisor about their study plans or any problems they come across that might hinder their studies.

  • Scheduled Consultation

Scheduled consultation with the academic advisor will be held at the start of each semester in order to prepare or to change the study plans that are required to be carried out by all the students.

In the academic year of 2016/2017, students that are unable to attend the  consultation will fulfill their obligations by giving their power through power of attorney (Attachment 3) signed on a stamp.  Any confusion or hindrance in preparing the study plans fully understood through the power of attorney will be the full responsibility of the students that gave the power.

  • Determining the Study Plan

Each student is required to register their study plans according to the consultation with the advisor. Students will fill out the study plans form in accordance with the registered schedule of study plans through the Local Area Network (LAN) or Online to the Academic Information System. In order to be able to register the study plans, the students are required to pay the principal tuition fee and a minimum of 10 credit semester fees according to the rates applicable for the semester. Every student will be given a chance to explore the study plans that have been arranged and approved in the study plans form during the study plans determination period.

  • Change of Study Plan

This stage is only intended for students that want to change their study plan. In this case, the student concerned is required to register their change of study plan using the Change of Study Plans form during the designated period. Changes of Study Plans are only valid if the administrative provisions have been fulfilled which in general the procedure is the same as determining the study plan.

The Study plan and changes can be edited or canceled by the faculty leadership if the courses do not meet the set minimum quota of students or if an academic violation is found.

Since the academic year of 2009/2010, all of the registration activities in the Faculty of Economics can be accessed online through the Student Portal on the UNPAR website through the following link: Student Portal.
