Course Evaluation

  • EVALUATION OF SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF EACH STUDY SEMESTER

Evaluation of students’ satisfactory completion of study in each semester is carried out at the end of the semester, covering all courses taken in the relevant semester. The success rate of students’ studies in one semester is the basis for determining the number of student credits allowed to be taken in the following semester. The success rate of students’ studies is measured based on the Semester Grade Point Average (GPS) with the following calculation formula:

Information:

GPS = Semester Grade Point Average

credits = semester credit units

Planned credit load for the following semester is determined by the following limits:

Semester Grade Point Average (GPS)Entitlement in the following Semester
3,00 – 4,0024 credits maximum
2,50 – 2,9921 credits maximum
0,00 – 2,4918 credits maximum

Especially for new students (first semester) the provision applies that the credit load taken is in accordance with the number of credits in the first semester in the curriculum of each study program.

  • PHASE ONE STUDY SUCCESS EVALUATION

In the first four semesters of the used study period, students are required to pass at least 30 credits and the First Grade Point Average must not be less than 2.00 (exactly two decimal places).

  • PHASE TWO STUDY SUCCESS EVALUATION

During the first eight semesters of the used study period, students are required to pass at least 75 credits and the Second Grade Point Average must not be less than 2.00 (exactly two decimal places).

  • PHASE THREE STUDY SUCCESS EVALUATION

At the end of the fourteenth semester of the used study period, students are required to have completed all curricular academic loads for the Undergraduate Education Program they are participating in. In the event that a student fails to fulfill one of the predetermined conditions, then basically the student is considered unable to complete the Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Economics, Parahyangan Catholic University. Therefore, every student who fails to meet the minimum level of study achievement at the time of the Study Phase Success Evaluation is declared to have lost the rights as a student at the Faculty of Economics, Parahyangan Catholic University.

Students are declared to have graduated from the Undergraduate Education Program at Parahyangan Catholic University after fulfilling the following requirements:

  1. Have passed the number of credits required by the Undergraduate Program Curriculum of the study program concerned, with a minimum total of 144 credits.
  2. Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) ≥ 2,00.
  3. The study period is not more than 14 (fourteen) semesters.
  4. There is no E grade.
  5. Contains at most 4 (four) D grades.
  6. There is no quality control subject that is lower than a C grade.

The success rate of students’ studies since first enrolling in the Faculty of Economics is evaluated cumulatively at the end of each semester that has been completed by looking at the Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA).
