On Saturday, November 28th 2020, the UNPAR Accounting Study Program held an Accounting Alumni Gathering with the theme “The Rising and Shining Stars of UNPAR Alumni”. The purpose of this meeting is to serve as a means of friendship and nostalgia, as well as discussions regarding the formation of the Accounting Alumni Association (Ikatan Alumni Akuntansi). This event was held using the Zoom platform from 4pm-6pm, starting with an opening prayer from Dra. Elsje Kosasih, Ak., M.Sc and an introduction speech from Drs.Arthur Purboyo, Ak., M.Pac, continued with a sharing session from the alumni regarding their experience as a student and the benefits they got from studying at UNPAR’s Accounting Study Program. The alumni who filled out the sharing session were : Ms. Julianingsih Tan (Assurance Services Partner, Market Assurance Leader EY Indonesia) – Accounting Alumni Class of 1984, Mr. Puji Harsono (Owner of Gita Sarana Consulting) – Class of 1978 Accounting Alumni, Mr. Tommy Hartanto (Associate Director – Regulatory and Compliance PT. Deloitte Konsultan Indonesia) – 2002 Class of Accounting Alumni, Wimam Limandibrata (RTM Strategy & Business Development Director Danone Aqua ) – Accounting Alumni Class of 2003, Johan Yosuardi Sunaryo (Commercial Organization Development Executive HM Sampoerna, Tbk.) – Accounting Alumni Class of 2013, and moderated by Ms. Gina Natalia Astari, SE – Accounting Alumni Class 2010 and Helen Wijaya.
Next, it was followed by a discussion session on establishing and forming the Accounting Alumni Association (Ikatan Alumni Akuntansi) moderated by Dr. Paulina Permatasari, M.Ak., CMA., CSRS., CSRA – Accounting Alumni Batch 1990, Wimam Limandibrata – Accounting Alumni Batch 2003, and Antonius Bobby Permana – Accounting Alumni Class of 2003. The purpose of this Association is to create a forum to unite and mobilize the various potential of the members of Accounting Alumni and strengthen the relationship between alumni, a forum to provide input for developments of the Field of Accounting Education and the teaching and learning, research, and community services conducted by higher education in Indonesia, a platform to create various opportunities for collaboration between campuses and alumni and also among alumni, and also a platform for activities that can accommodate the work and expression of the alumni which can bring pride and joy to UNPAR. The Accounting Alumni Gathering was closed by Mr. Prof. Dr. Hamfri Djadjadikerta – Accounting Alumni Class of 1979 and the closing prayer was led by Mrs. Dra. Elsje Kosasih, Ak., M.Sc.
