
The Faculty of Economics of Parahyangan Catholic University said goodbye to its 257 graduates in the 2021/2022 odd semester, with 27 graduates from Development Economics Department, 89 graduates from Management Department, and 141 graduates from Accounting Department in the graduation ceremony that was held hybrid for the first time, on Friday, April 22 at 08.30 am. The occasion was attended by 92 graduates who came directly to UNPAR by following strict health protocols, while 145 graduates participated in the graduation via Zoom.
On this occasion, the Faculty of Economics gave appreciation and souvenirs, especially to the best graduates of the Faculty of Economics, Yohanes Mikha Boediarto and Cindy Shafira Beninda from Development Economics Department, Karlinda Margaretha Nugroho and Shelly Mulyadi from Management Department, as well as Cindy Christabella Anastasia Windudharma and Natasha Dirdjosapoetro from Accounting Department.
At the ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Budiana Gomulia, Dra., M.Si. through her welcome speech invited the graduates to capture the many opportunities that can be achieved, by mentioning things like government policies that affect the country’s economy, as well as the decision to move the nation’s capital to North Kalimantan, which can be viewed as an opportunity to get involved in the development by showing the spirit of change. She also left a message always to act honestly and the importance of building trust as the main capital in working and professional life.
The ceremony ended with the graduation speech by the Vice Dean of Student and Alumni Affairs, Ivan Prasetya, SE., MSM., M.eng. and an acceptance speech by the Head of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Antonius Alijoyo, Drs. MM, followed by each department’s events.
Not only the undergraduate programs, the Faculty of Economics also said goodbye to seven of its best graduates from the Master of Management Department, with Monica Chandra and Camilla Casimira Kurniawan as its best graduates, in the Graduation ceremony that took place in Maxi’s Resto, Ciumbuleuit, Bandung on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 06.00 pm. All of the graduates took part in this event, with the addition of the Dean of Faculty of Economics, Vice Dean of Student and Alumni Affairs, Head of the Management Department, Head of the Master of Management Study Program, and a few of the lecturers. The event ended with gifts exchanging and a reception for the graduates.
